Young Carers

Young carers Autumn 2017

Our young carers have come into school after the summer holidays and have already been busy during our young carers group in school.

They have been using their artistic skills to decorate bug hotels that will be placed in our school garden to provide shelter for our smaller wildlife.

Look out for them when you are visiting school.

We've done it!!

I'm proud to announce on Monday 13th February 2017, St Francis Catholic Primary School achieved the Warwickshire young carers gold standard award, In recognition of the support our school gives to our young carers.

St Francis Catholic Primary School are proud to be working with the Warwickshire young carers project.  An organisation which supports children who take on  a caring role within their family.  The school have been working closely with young carers and we have recently achieved our bronze Warwickshire young carers award (please see the link below).  We are now working towards our silver award.  If you think you are a young carer or think you know someone who is, please come and speak to Mrs Haywood, your class teacher or look on the Warwickshire young carers website.
